- Client:Moore2Design/Palmetto CRA
- Info:Project Budget: $1,000,000 – The renovation of Sutton Park was the first low impact redevelopment effort in the City of Palmetto. It was begun in 2012 and involved the creation of a new pavilion area along with changes to the pavement to utilize permeable pavers to assist in reducing stormwater runoff. Since its original completion, a roof structure has been added to make the pavilion area suitable for all weather use. Robert Gause was involved in all phases of this project, including pavement patterns, landscape and irrigation design, permeable pavement, project management, etc.. The project received national recognition when it won the 2013 Gold Award for Bricks in Architecture from the National Brick Industry Association. It continues to function well as the site for numerous festival activities. *Project management and design effort led by Robert Gause at Allison-Gause, Inc.
